How to Soft Reset TCL Soundbar
Before attempting to factory reset your TCL Soundbar, it is advisable to soft reset it. A soft reset, in layman’s terms, indicates power cycling your soundbar. A power cycle simply restarts your device and removes the residual charges present in it. By doing this, any sort of minor technical glitches get erased. Here’s the step-by-step procedure to do it.
1. Cut off the power supply to your soundbar.

How to Factory Reset TCL Soundbar [Hard Reset]
A factory reset or hard reset of your soundbar deletes all the data saved on it. This includes all the configuration, settings, etc, along with minor bugs and glitches. There’s a high chance that your soundbar would work generally after doing a factory reset. The procedure to reset a TCL Soundbar is given below. Do remember that you can reset your TCL Soundbar only by using its Remote.
1. Turn on the power supply to your TCL Soundbar and put it in standby mode. The soundbar’s White LED light starts blinking when it is in standby mode.
2. Now, point the remote at your soundbar. Press and hold either of the Power, Pause, or OK buttons on the remote for at least 5 seconds.
3. Release the button once you see the Factory Reset option displayed on your soundbar. Now, press the same button that you were holding on in the previous step.
